Because the free ones are not trustworthy. Google gives exact monthly figures only to accounts spending real money on ads; everyone else gets vague buckets. We would rather show you nothing than a number we cannot stand behind.
And volume is not the decision anyway. Which page answers which group of customers, and what order you build them in — that is the decision, and that is what is free on this page. The verified numbers come with the paid report, pulled from Google in our own account.
Why it works for any trade
Most tools hold a database of industries and fail on anything unusual. This one is built on how British people phrase a search — near me, cost, best, emergency, in my town — which is the part that stays the same whether you fit scaffolding or make wedding cakes. Because there is nothing for us to protect. The tool costs us nothing to run, so there is no reason to make you hand over an email before you get something useful.

Can you just do it for me?

No. It runs entirely on our own server with nothing to expire and no outside service to fail.
