What we collect
Information you give us. When you submit the contact form we collect your name, email address, and — if you choose to provide them — your phone number, website address and the details of your enquiry.
Information collected automatically. Our web server keeps standard access logs, which include IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested. These are used for security and troubleshooting.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and provide the services you ask about
- To keep records of the work we do for clients
- To keep the website secure and working properly
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests where you have contacted us about our services, and contract where we are working for you. We do not add enquiries to a marketing list without asking you first.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do not add you to newsletters you did not ask for.
Who else may process it
Some of the tools we use to run the business necessarily handle your data on our behalf — our web hosting provider, our email provider, and analytics software if enabled. Each is bound to process data only on our instructions.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become clients are deleted after two years. Client records are kept for seven years, as required for UK tax purposes. Server logs are kept for a short period only.
Cookies
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics in future, this page will be updated and you will be asked for consent before any non-essential cookie is set.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Email us and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
